- I have completed my NVQ3 in home-based childcare with an A grade (2008)
- I am NCMA insured
- I am fully trained in Paediatric First Aid
- I am registered as a food premises and have a food safety certificate
I endeavour to make my home a fun, enjoyable and safe place for your child(ren) to be. My aims are: - To provide suitable care and supervision of your child(ren), appropriate to their age and ability
- To provide a range of play and other activities as this is how children learn about the world, and to provide the above in a general routine to establish your child’s security and sense of order
- To establish ‘house rules’
- I operate a no smacking policy, which is law for childminders
- To protect your child’s needs according to the Children’s Act 1989, Human Rights Act 2000 and the welfare requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage
- To treat all children with equal care and concern, and to give equal opportunities to discover, understand and expand their knowledge of the world
- To implement the Early Years Foundation Stage
- AND to establish a good working relationship with both child and parent
